A few housekeeping items for The MOCPC Middleburg Horse Trials:
- Volunteers are our most valuable asset as we can’t hold events without them. We can’t run the HT without volunteers. We have open jobs we need filled including a dressage scribe and shuttle drivers and jump judges Saturday. Please ask your friends, neighbors, students, etc. to volunteer. We will be providing our volunteers with lunch and drinks at the meadow house for volunteers. If you are riding one day, please volunteer the other day. Signup at Volunteer Signup
- All trailers – please come in GATE 2 on both Saturday and Sunday – go through the polo arena parking and follow the signs to trailer parking.
- All volunteers/spectators – please come in GATE 7 and follow signs around to the left past the ‘Red Barn’ to park.
- We will have VERY limited water available in the parking area – please plan accordingly. There is access to water back up by the polo arena and at the finish of XC.
- We will have food on site for breakfast and lunch both Saturday and Sunday provided by Brick City Kitchen.
- NO CARS OR TRUCKS will be allowed up by competition area during competition – bikes/golf carts/gators will be allowed. We will also have shuttles from the secretary to the main arena.
- Course Maps will be posted at the start box and available online Friday afternoon.
- Dressage will be in the upper sand ring for most competitors; 1 grass ring will be used for 1 division on Saturday and 2 divisions on Sunday.
- VTO Saddlery will be here both days.
- Entries are not complete unless payment has been made, even if the paperwork was received or emailed prior to the closing date. If payment was not received or emailed as of the closing date, the entry is late and a late fee has been assessed. Please email the secretary with your intent to make payment in order to have your ride time posted.
- Ride times will be posted no later than Wednesday evening on our official website MOPC Website.
- Competitors with multiple rides in a day must complete their Dressage test at the posted time unless they get approval from the TD, Ground Jury or Dressage Steward. In any case it would be best to do your SJ and XC at the stated times but in some cases that is not possible. You must finish your Stadium and XC before the courses are changed. Please let the relevant stewards know your plans.

- You will be able to see the score for each of your dressage movements; the jumps where your problems occurred and can sort results for any phase. You may want to bookmark this on your mobile phone. We are looking forward to hosting a terrific event in The Plains this weekend.
